Attorney Arien Cannon is a native of South Carolina. After more than a decade of public service in Washington, D.C., and Maryland, he joined the firm where his practice area focuses on employment discrimination and personal injury matters. Upon graduating law school, he completed a clerkship in Prince George’s County, Maryland Circuit Court. While in Maryland, he represented defendants in initial appearances before the state District Courts. Most recently, Arien served as an administrative judge with the D.C. Office of Employee Appeals adjudicating employment matters. In this capacity, he addressed issues ranging from discovery disputes to conducting evidentiary hearings to compliance and enforcement matters.
In 2020, Arien was a recipient of the National Bar Association’s Top 40 Under 40 - Nation's Best Advocates Award.
A cum laude graduate of Florida A & M University School of Business, Arien also played baseball for the Rattlers. Following his undergraduate studies, he attended North Carolina Central University School of Law. Attorney Cannon is a self-proclaimed foodie and enjoys keeping up with current events.
